FLIC EN FLAC
Flic en Flac is a seaside village on the west coast of the island, about 75 minutes drive from the airport. Its northern part has a few private villas along the high cliffs battered by rough seas while its southern part has white sandy beach. Flic en Flac harbours not less than 12 hotels, set right on the beautiful golden sandy beach. There is no private villa situated right on the beach, except for only one, as the public beach and the hotels occupy most of the land along the lagoon. The public beach, about one Km long, is very popular among tourists and Mauritian families alike, and several operators offer nautical sports and activities including skiing, windsurf, parasailing, towed inflatable buoys, deep sea fishing all along the stretch of golden beach.
