POINTE AUX CANONNIERS
Pointe aux Canonniers is situated in the north-west of Mauritius, between Mont Choisy & Grand’Baie and is well-known by regular visitors to “Club Méditerranée” – ClubMed – which is situated right there on the beach, and which offers night entertainment that is much enjoyed by many non-resident holiday makers who may take advantage of its restaurants, bar and evening shows for a modest fee. It is about 75 minutes drive from SSR International Airport.
The best swim nearby is about 200 metres from the “club” along the beach of Mont Choisy where many operators offer several nautical activities including water skiing, parasailing and towed inflatable buoys. Grand Bay, which is only 10 minutes drive away, offers more nautical activities like scuba diving, deep sea fishing, Undersea Walk, and Blue Safari submarines.
