POMPONNETTE
Pomponnette is a very quiet resort situated in the south of the island, between St Felix beach and Riambel beach. It lies along the Scenic Route linking Le Morne and Souillac offering picturesque views of the sea. It is about 1 hour from the airport.
Several newInternational hotels, offering nautical sport facilities, have recently been built along that route at St Felix and Bel Ombre. Golf enthusiasts will certainly enjoy a few games at the International golf course at "Le Golf du Chateau" at Bel Ombre which is becoming very popular among golfers visiting Mauritius.
